For Indian women, it’s not easy to make a mark in politics as it is dominated by males. Society, traditionally, has not encouraged women to join politics. However, times have been changing and women participation in Indian politics have risen gradually. There is no doubt that women are diligent workers, and female politicians are no exceptions. Some of them are not only hardworking but exceptionally beautiful as well. Here is the list of 5 the most beautiful female politicians of India who have won the love and affection of the people of the country:  

1. Smriti Irani

Smriti Irani is an Indian politician, former model and television actress. She is currently serving in the cabinet of Narendra Modi as Minister of Textiles and was given additional charge as Minister of Women and Child Development in the 2nd cabinet of Modi since May 2019.

2. Nusrat Jahan

Nusrat Jahan Ruhi is an Indian film actress who predominantly works in Bengali cinema. She joined politics in 2019 and contested from Basirhat as a Trinamool Congress candidate. She emerged as the winner by a margin of 350,000 votes against BJP candidate Sayantan Basu.

3. Dimple Yadav 

Dimple Yadav is a member of the Samajwadi Party. Yadav was for two terms, the Member of the Indian Parliament representing Kannauj. Her husband is the Samajwadi Party President and former Chief Minister of Uttar Pradesh, Akhilesh Yadav.

4. Alka Lamba 

After serving the Indian National Congress in various capacities for more than 20 years, Lamba quit joining the Aam Aadmi Party on 26 December 2014. In February 2015, Lamba was elected to the Delhi Legislative Assembly from Chandni Chowk.

5. Ramya AKA Divya Spandana

Divya Spandana, professionally known as Ramya, is an Indian former film actress and former politician. She served as the Member of Parliament in the Lok Sabha from Mandya, Karnataka.

They are smart, they are beautiful and they understand the political game really well. While researching for this article, I came across many names and it was tough to leave some of them out of this list. In fact, the whole process took me a lot of time because I was finding it hard to take my eyes off these lovely ladies.

1. Hina Rabbani Khar

If a country has a foreign minister (like Pakistan used to have) as beautiful as Hina Rabbani Khar, establishing diplomatic relations with other countries won’t be difficult.

2. Maria Carfagna

Maria Carfagna was the Minister Of Equal Opportunity in Italy, between May 2008 and November 2011. That’s not what makes her so famous though. She was ranked Number One on Maxim’s list of World’s Hottest Politicians some time back.  

3. Alejandra Campoverdi

Alejandra Campoverdi was a member of the White House under Barack Obama, but that’s not her only major achievement. She had once posed for Maxim, and we certainly think she is a treat for sore eyes.

4. Dimple Yadav

The only Indian on this list, Dimple Yadav is a member of Samajwadi Party and also the wife of former UP chief minister Akhilesh Yadav. You’ll probably always see her in a saree and I wish all politicians looked as cute and pretty as her.

5.  Alina Kabaeva

Very few women athletes turn to politics, and Alina Kabaeva is one of them. Along with winning two Olympic medals, she has been a member of the Russian Parliament between 2007 and 2014. On top of that, the Russian also one of the most beautiful politicians and I’m sure that there are no shortage of her admirers.
